28 weeks 1 day.
Hey, it has been awhile since I have written anything. I am 28 weeks and 1 day pregnant today. Everything has been going pretty well. I am glad to say I am in my third trimester, finally! I had a doctor's appointment yesterday, my blood pressure was a little high, but the nurse said it was fine. Baby's heartbeat was 148 and it sounded nice and strong! The doctor said everything is right on track and looks good. I am now down to going to the doctor's every 2 weeks. My next appointment is October 30th, the day before Hallowen. On to what I have been feeling since the last time I updated... I get this very bad pain, where you would get round ligament pain, but this pain lasts for like 3 minutes at a time. It hurts to move when it comes, but the doctor isnt worried about it, he thinks it is probably just the baby laying on a nerve. I have also had very badly swollen feet and ankles so I have been trying to take it easy and keep my feet up. I am happy to say that the baby has been moving alot more lately, which makes me so happy, I love feeling all his kicks, rolls, and hiccups! I had my baby shower, and got a lot of things. If you would like to see what all I got, I have a video of it on youtube. Anywyas, I think that is about all for now. Talk to you guys later!

What's been happening lately...
Hey everyone! So I got my glucose screening test results back and I do NOT have gestational diabetes, but I do have iron deficiency. I am now on iron supplements, so they should help. I just started work yesterday, I work at a Halloween store. I worked from 10:00am-7:30pm yesterday, and I was on my feet all day. My feet are very swollen now so I have been trying to keep them up. My whole body is in pain from standing for so long. I only had a 30 minute break, so I barely had any time to rest. I hate working, but I know that it will help us with money. My manager is such a "witch", she does not like any one but herself. She yelled at me because I did something wrong, and I had no clue it was wrong, it was my first day! I think she should have explained it to me, instead of yelling at me. Anyways, enough venting. I have been feeling pretty good lately, except for the swollen feet, and my fingers are swollen, my ring barely fits anymore and none of my shoes except for my flip-flops fit. Michael has been kicking a lot, in fact, he is kicking me a lot right now. I love how active he is! I felt his hick-ups for the first time the other day, it felt weird, but it made me happy because it means his lungs are developing. School has been good, I got an A on my first English paper and a B on my history quiz. Those are my only two core classes, so I am doing pretty well. Speech is really fun, I love the people in my class, and my psychology class hasn't started yet. Brian has been doing good, he is still working, and trying to loose weight. He has lost about 25 pounds so far! Anyways, I am going to go for now, talk to you later. (:

Week 24 of Pregnancy
So, I had my glucose screening test today, it really was not that bad! The drink tasted like flat orange soda with too much sugar. The only bad thing was it gave me bad acid reflux. After that I had my doctors appointment, and it went well. He said the baby's heart beat sounds good and everything, so that made me happy. I have now gained about 10 pounds from where I was pre-pregnancy (I lost about 5 pounds at the beginning of pregnancy, so if you include that, I have gained about 15 pounds). About two hours after I had my glucose test, I got so tired, I think it was because I was on a sugar high from the drink, and then my body crashed once it wore off. Anyways, everything is very good this week. I have been sleeping better, which is a huge perk! My belly has gotten super round, and it just keeps getting bigger. Still no stretch marks, but I do have a faint Linea Nigra, and the top of my belly button pokes out a little now. I have been craving iced coffee, which I have had a few of. My doctor said it is okay for me to have a cup of coffee or a glass of soda each day, but just not too much. My next doc. appointment is in 4 weeks (October 17th) and then after that one I start going every two weeks. I have 3 more weeks until I am in my third trimester, which I am super happy about! Each week is just another week closer to meeting my baby boy! I am glad to hear everyone is doing pretty well this week. I will keep y'all updated as things happen, talk to you soon!

My mom is planning my shower now! It will be on October 10th from 11:30 to 1:00 at her boss's house (who, might I add, is rich and has an AMAZING house!). I am so excited for the shower. I know it is early commpared to most showers, but that is when my grandma will be in town, and we want her to be there (considering she is most likely the one buying the crib). I just had to come on here and post an update saying this because of how excited I am for it! If you would like to go to my registry to see I want or to see what people are getting, I am registered at Babies R Us and Target, you can see both of them online.
Also, Michael has been very active lately, he keeps kicking very hard, I am able to watch my tummy move, it is like a show! I love when he does it, it makes me so happy. I absolutley can not wait to meet him, but I still have 13 weeks and 2 days until I am full term and 17 weeks and 2 days until the due date.
Well that is all for now, I will probablly write more in the next couple of days (:

A litle about myself and my family
Lets start out with me, I am Michaela, and I am 18 years old. I am engaged to the most wonderful man, Brian. I am pregnant with a little boy, and yes he will be my first child. I am originally from Rhode Island, but I now live in Texas. I went to a small private school in high school, and graduated in a class of 16 people in May of '09. I now attend the community college by me. I want to major in elementary education, although, it may take longer than expected because of our little bundle. My fiance is 19 and is not attending school, he works in retail right now but has decided to join either the army or the air force, we are going to plan it so that he does not leave for boot camp until the baby is 3 months old. He is trying very hard to support himself, our soon-to-be child, and myself. I am very proud of him for all the sacrifices and hard work he has done to help us. Our little boy, who will be named Michael Boston (Michael after Brian's closest and favorite cousin), is due on January 7th. He is a very active baby, and I love it! The doctor says he is pretty big for what he should be, but that's okay, the bigger guys have a better chance at becoming big football stars. ;) Brian and I are so excited to become parents. We will get married when Brian comes home from boot camp, and move to wherever they station him. We are a little family in the making, and can not wait for all the things to come.
